Carpet One Appoints Sandy Bone Vice-President Of Hard Surfaces And Area Rugs

Sandy Mishkin, President of Carpet One announced the appointment of Sandy Bone as the new Vice-President Of Hard Surfaces And Area Rugs for Carpet One. Ms. Bone will be the executive in charge of product development, merchandising, and purchasing of all hard surface products and area rugs for nearly 1000 Carpet One stores. Ms. Bone was previously an executive with The Home Depot, responsible for initial carpet/floorcovering reset for the mid-south and southwest region and area rug captain for the entire company. Prior to that, she was the Vice-President of National Sales for Oriental Weavers of America. She had also held executive positions at American Rug Craftsman, Carpet Co-op Of America (Carpet one), and Mohawk Carpet Corporation. "Sandy is a highly experienced professional who has demonstrated her ability to merchandise a successful flooring program at some of the most competitive retailers in the U.S., said Mishkin, President of Carpet One. "Both hard surfaces and area rugs are very hot areas in flooring right now. We're glad to have Sandy on our team because her insight and creativity are certain to enhance our leadership positions in both areas," he noted. Ms. Done is a graduate of Kennesaw College in Kennesaw, Georgia and the Atlanta Art Institute. Carpet One is North America's largest carpet retailer with over 1,000 retail stores. Carpet One members also operate stores in Australia and Guam. Carpet One stores carry a full line of quality carpet, area rugs, and flooring.
