New Edition of Second Wave Newsletter on Composite Panel Products Published

The Composite Panel Association (CPA) has published the second edition of Second Wave: The New Generation of Composite Panel Products, its dynamic semi-annual tabloid newsletter for architects, builders and manufacturers. This issue of Second Wave includes a cover story on the Seattle Asian Art Museum's extensive use of MDF in its recent remodeling, including its impressive Art Deco-style MDF pylons. Another story highlights the Deck House design recently featured in Home magazine. Engineered wood is used prominently in the laminate floors, built-in entertainment center and the RTA furniture of this stylish home. An article on indoor air quality addresses the environmental performance of composite panels. A fourth feature includes an interview with a custom woodworker in Georgia who makes extensive use of particleboard for his projects. The first issue of Second Wave was well-received by architects, builders and furniture and cabinet manufacturers in the U.S. and Canada, and generated numerous follow-up requests.
