Colorodo retailer, Woodley's Fine Furniture recently held an Arbor Day promotion which included: A $5,000 donation to the National Arbor Day Foundation Giving away 2,000 blue spruce seedlings to customers who visited any of their six locations from April 21-28. ·Customers who purchased $500 or more received a one year Arbor Day Foundation membership and had 10 trees planted in their name in the Araphaho or Roosevelt national forest lands in Colorado. Chuck Armitage, Marketing Director for Woodley's Fine Furniture said that over a four day weekend period, the company gave out 300 one year memberships and generated more than a half million dollars in sales. The promotion also brought in families with young children and many people who had never before shopped or heard of Woodley's Fine Furniture.
