WHFA Retail Operations Product Program Hits Three Million Dollar Milestone

The Western Home Furnishings Association Retail Operations Product Program sales has just surpassed 3 million in sales since it’s inception in 1997. The WHFA products sales began in mid 1997 with just a few warehouse and delivery items and generated sales over $55,000. This year, the program, which has grown to include a full line of touchup products and a complete online store, will generate over $630,000, for total sales of over 3 million. “We are very excited with the over 900% growth in the program, but we are even more proud of the value we bring to the members.” tells Sharron Bradley, WHFA Executive Director. The success of the program has been due to the growing participation of the member retailers and their involvement with the entire program. Jef Spencer, WHFA Operations Director explains, “Our members are always suggesting new and better delivery and warehouse products for us to include in the program, and because the ideas come from the retailers, they are received well and used by the members.” The WHFA Products program was developed by home furnishings retailers for retailers. It was designed for members to buy the products and supplies they use everyday in the warehouse and on deliveries at deeply discounted prices. WHFA takes the suggestions from the members and buys the products in truckload quantities and stores them in our onsite warehouse for rapid shipment. With the growing support and history of success in serving members, the program will continue to be an important benefit for all WHFA members.
