13th Anniversary Gift for Life Gala To Honor Raymond Waites

amfAR will commemorate the 13th Gift for Life anniversary with a fabulous gala evening at the Copacabana, located across the street from the Javits Convention Center in Manhattan. Gift for Life is a committee of executives from the gift and home industries that raises money for amfAR. To date, Gift for Life has raised over $3.5 million for AIDS related basic research, clinical research, global initiatives and prevention through special events, major donations and product sales. Gift for Life is the only industry-wide charity effort, and the anniversary party is considered the event of the year. Tickest for this event will be $125 each and sponsorships are available. The 13th Anniversary Gift for Life Gala will be held on Monday, May 16, 2005 in New York, NY at the Copacabana, 560 West 34th Street, New York City, 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Raymond Waites will receive the Chuck Yancy Lifetime Achievement Award. DEMDACO will receive the Award for Outstanding Industry Achievement. Gerry Seibel and Joan Ulrich will be presented with the Bert Tonkin Gift of Giving Award.
