FurnitureJobs.net is Growing Faster than Expected!

Just within the past couple of weeks, FurnitureJobs.net has seen explosive growth from both Employers and Job Seekers. FurnitureJobs.net was set up to be the Dedicated Career Board and resource for the Furniture, Mattress, and Bedding Industries, and it is working. Todd Rimer, Director of Sales and Talent Acquisition states, "The name is spreading, candidates are coming to the site looking for positions, they are signing up for their Free Job Seeker Accounts, and utilizing the site as we expected them to. There is a ton of talent out there that is not signing up for an account, but are still coming to browse frequently. We have set the site up so that if a candidate wants to submit a resume to a position, they will have to join with us (for free and confidentially if they wish), but can still search the site without an Account. Just yesterday, we had over 400 visits to the site from Job Seekers. We are averaging, on a daily basis, an increase in Job Seeker Accounts in the 10 to 15% range. The majority of the Accounts opened yesterday were from the Furniture Retail Industry. We also had a bunch from Mattress Manufacturing, a few Independent Reps, and a few from Furniture Manufacturing. Our Database of talent is very well-rounded and growing!" Rimer also states, "FurnitureJobs.net has seen this type of growth right from the beginning. We have had thousands and thousands of visits and page views, and we are excited to see this continue to grow. There were over 1,300 page views yesterday and over 3,500 page views so far this week and should end up well over 5,000 by the weekend. At one point yesterday we had 70 Active Visitors on the site at once! The top page view this week is Job Seeker/Search Jobs at over 1,600 job search pages opened. As I had stated, not everyone that is coming to our site as a candidate is signing up for their free Job Seeker account, but they are still coming in search of a position! This is exactly how we wanted the site to work. We want everyone from these three industries to feel comfortable about looking into a new position."
