Excelsior Designs Announces New Representatives

Excelsior Designs is announced that a number of new independent sales representatives have joined the organization recently. The 22 year old company has evolved from one whose distribution was primarily contemporary specialists to also having strong product representation in major independent furniture retailers across the country. In September, Excelsior Designs will debut its first licensed collection for designer Nicole Miller. Miller, whose apparel lines are sold in upscale department stores, apparel stores, and company-owned boutiques, brings Excelsior Designs additional opportunities for incremental distribution and sales. The new sales representatives and territories are as follows: Kurt Gutheim (Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin, North and South Dakota) Larry Schneiderman (New York, Northern New Jersey, New England) Christine Steinberg (Northern California, Northern Nevada, Hawaii) Mickey Waldrup (Florida, Louisiana, Texas) Bob Zimmermann (Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado, and Utah) Excelsior Designs and its lifestyle division Casa Novalia have a permanent showroom in High Point’s IHFC Design Center D1110. All of the company’s case goods and leather upholstery are manufactured in Italy. It is headquartered in North Amityville, NY where it also maintains a distribution center servicing retailers and special orders in addition to their direct container program.
