In a last minute move, Jasper Cabinet was able to commit to a space in the Green Wing of the IHFC Building. “We initially did not plan to show in High Point this October but there has been so much interest by the industry about Jasper Cabinet’s re-opening that it was decided to see what space was available,” says Robert Cribbs, President of Jasper Cabinet Company. “It was a very disappointing trip to High Point. Either the locations were not desirable or we would have to commit to far more square feet than what was needed”, stated Cribbs. With any start up, you need to watch expenses and if not careful the excitement of High Point can become very costly.” “We were contacted by Roy Hadinata, managing partner with Broughton Hall Furniture, a solid wood bedroom and dining room manufacturer out of Indonesia, wanting to know if Jasper Cabinet would be interested in taking part of their showroom for October.” Cribbs goes on to say, “this is a great opportunity and I jumped on it. Broughton Hall is a high quality solid wood furniture manufacturer, and the company would be a good fit for Jasper Cabinet.” “The reaction by many of the dealers and designers hearing the news that we have committed to showing has been tremendous!” added Cribbs. “It should be a fun and exciting show to kick off the next 100 years for Jasper Cabinet!” The Broughton Hall-Jasper Cabinet Showroom will be in the Green Wing of the IHFC Building in space #G476. Jasper Cabinet will be introducing newly styled computer secretaries at the October High Point Market. These unique pieces are sure to be a hit, so much so, that the company has received a “patent pending”. Jasper Cabinet also is re-introducing the fireplace wine cabinets and chests that were originally introduced before the former company closed.
