A GOOD LEADER.....

  1. understands that profanity may reflect anger and emotions but it does not necessarily reflect inspired leadership
  2. knows that identifying problems and concerns without recommending reasonable solutions is not inspired leadership
  3. realizes that voice inflection is more meaningful than volume when identifying, correcting and remediating questionable conduct
  4. knows that how we communicate is as meaningful as what we communicate
  5. knows that repeated threats that are not followed by meaningful action have little impact
  6. knows that properly directed encouragement is more meaningful in modifying behaviors of associates than distain and criticism
  7. knows the utilization of slang and incorrect grammar diminishes the impact of directives and policy statements
  8. knows that repetition may be necessary to change conduct and establish continuity in initiating corporate policy
