Heritage Home Group Unveils the Creation of Three New Business Units

Heritage Home Group announced, "The sale of Lane Furniture has provided the opportunity for Heritage Home Group ("HHG") to simplify its business model and embark on a strategic transformation that realigns its organization around brand driven business units. The iconic brands of HHG are now being organized into three distinctive business units with dedicated leadership: Broyhill, Thomasville & Co. and the Luxury Group. With direct accountability, these business units will have the responsibility and ability to react to the specific trends and changes in the segment of the marketplace their brands serve. Due to their streamlined and simplified structure, each business will provide dedicated customer focus and support to generate profitable growth."


Harvey Dondero joined HHG in November 2017 and has now been appointed as the President of Broyhill. Harvey previously served as CEO and President of Broyhill from 2005 through 2007 and held a variety of other leadership roles in the furniture industry including CEO of Theodore Alexander and President of Universal Furniture Limited. His deep knowledge of this over 100 year brand and its unique position to serve the mid-range market will allow Harvey to lead Broyhill into the future. Broyhill, with its tremendous brand recognition, broad product assortment and wide appeal, is available through retail furniture stores not only in America, but across the world.


The second business unit, Thomasville & Co., is comprised of Thomasville, Drexel and Henredon is led by Regan Iglesia as its new President. Regan joined HHG in January 2016 and has served as Chief Merchandising Officer overseeing all merchandising, licensing and marketing functions of the company. Regan came to HHG from Waterford/Wedgwood, where he held a number of senior leadership positions in sales, product development and marketing during his successful 24 year career. Thomasville, Drexel and Henredon brands are sold primarily through retail furniture stores including our network of company owned retail stores across the country. These three brands represent a good - better - best price point structure within the premium segment, and offer three distinctive design categories with a classic, contemporary, and luxe style aesthetic, respectively. HHG's successful Contract division, that serves the hospitality and government markets, will also be part of the Thomasville & Co. business unit.


Hickory Chair, Pearson, Maitland-Smith and Lane Venture form the Luxury Group. These brands are a destination for the interior design channel and are also sold through high-end luxury retail furniture and boutique stores. Kevin Bowman is appointed President of the Luxury Group. Kevin joined HHG as the Vice President Sales - Luxury Brands in June 2016. Kevin came from Stanley Furniture where he served as Vice President of Sales. Throughout his successful 20-year career within the furniture and retail industries, he has held executive-level positions with several prominent furniture companies, including Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Avalon Furniture and Vice President of Sales and Retail Development for Thomasville Furniture Industries Inc.
