Kingsdown Strikes Private Label Partnership with 22-Store Retailer Mattress Land

West Coast sleep retailer Mattress Land reports that it has tapped bedding manufacturer Kingsdown to manufacture its 14-model private label SleepFit brand of premium mattresses designed with the latest technology and materials. The Kingsdown-manufactured product line will be featured in Mattress Land’s 22 stores in California, Idaho, Nevada and Washington.

The Kingsdown brand has been a staple on Mattress Land’s floor since 2009, and the new partnership solidifies the companies’ relationship. The line previously had been manufactured by other manufacturers.
“We are extremely excited about where the Kingsdown-built SleepFit will take us,” said James Smith, founder and CEO of Mattress Land. “SleepFit has become part of our DNA at Mattress Land, and every consumer who comes in the store to buy a mattress goes through the process of being fitted. Teaming up with Kingsdown and its focus on technology to help consumers find the right mattress makes perfect sense.”

The SleepFit beds will retail between $399 and $3,000. The collection features a selection of mattresses designed with pocketed-coil construction, upgraded knit covers and Serene foam. Each bed is designed to work with Mattress Land’s BedFit diagnostic system.
