‘Desert Flippers’ Program Adds to Casual and Outdoor Offerings at Las Vegas Market

Furniture World News Desk on 1/21/2019

Las Vegas Market announced that an exclusive appearance by Eric and Lindsey Bennett, stars of HGTV’s “Desert Flippers” series, will add celebrity sizzle to the Market’s unique indoor/outdoor lifestyle programming and product offerings for 2019 Winter Las Vegas Market, running Jan. 27 – Jan. 31, 2019.

“One of the things we say on the show is ‘Let’s take this party outside,’ and it’s really representative of the way people are living,” said Eric Bennett. “Lindsey does a great job of compartmentalizing backyards when we are renovating a home. For example, she’ll stage a full living room in one area, a complete barbecue section in another, and then a nook for reading a book and enjoying a cup of coffee in another.

“People are no longer confined by four walls; they’ve rediscovered their backyards and have embraced an indoor/outdoor lifestyle,” Bennett continued. “Being outside allows them to reconnect with nature, enjoy fresh air, and step away from the noise of their devices. It’s a chance to be present in the world, and we try to offer those types of opportunities in the work we do in Palm Springs.”

The “Desert Flippers” presentation will be in WorldView on Sixteen in Building B on Monday, Jan. 28. During the session, which runs from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Eric and Lindsey will share details about their real estate and renovation business. In the 10 years since Eric and Lindsey moved across the country to pursue their dream of building a real estate empire, the couple has flipped more than 100 homes. A question and answer portion will follow the discussion.

Overall, Winter Market will feature more than 180 casual and outdoor resources with product introductions planned by several leading exhibitors.
