Furniture World News Desk on 1/23/2019

Company C, the award-winning New Hampshire-based design and manufacturing company, announced several new designs for its Colorfields rug collection. This new collection presents a thought-provoking use of color and texture. The rugs will premier during Las Vegas Market in Building A, Space 225 and be showcased in vignettes along with previously announced designs created in collaboration with Jill Seale. Market attendees are invited to attend the “Colorful Conversations” event in the Company C showroom on Monday, January 28th at 10:30am, 1:30pm and 4:30pm.

The sophisticated design of Colorfields rugs at the quality they are rendered in distinguishes the product from those of competitors’. The company is seeing increased adoption of this product line within the millennial market. Interior designers are also featuring Colorfields in their designs, as their clients are in need of more versatile textures for their lifestyle.

“Millenials are moving into the next phase of their lives, purchasing their first home, and have begun to appreciate the artisanship of quality home furnishings that exude personality,” said Christine Chapin, Co-Founder and Colorful Living Officer at Company C, “We like to think of rugs as art for the floor, and recognize how the use of art in the home complements one’s signature style. These designs were developed with attainable pricing in mind and represent a strong value for this market.”

These new rugs balance between subtly and personal style rendered in neutral color palettes, intriguing textures, and bolder hues that introduce the element of fun and individuality. The new designs are a modern take on artisanal craftsmanship; the perfect modern centerpiece for the home.

Crosshatch’s sketch-like pattern is fresh and modern. The abstract design styled from mottled yarns adds a lush texture - creating a wonderful foundation for any room.

Corinth, inspired by the engraving on Corinthian columns, soft golden tones come alive in classic styling in this neutral rug that is both textural and soft underfoot.

Hana is the perfect juxtaposition of warm and cool neutrals in an Asian-inspired floral with a light gray ground that embraces warm camel, toffee and charcoal hues to create a timeless floral design.

An edit to the simplicity of Panama basket weaving techniques, the Panama rug is hand-woven, and offers a delightful textural look.

Tula calls to mind tall blades of grass gently bending in the warm wind of a summer day; its’ driftwood colored yarns alternate with variegated shades of green and blue jewel tones in this hand-woven delight.

A wonderful intricate pattern, Tattersall is a reminder of time-tested classic wool suiting, tailored perfectly for the home.

Inspired by Scottish tweeds – Harrison is a smart, traditional and stylish rug ideal for coordinating with other patterns in the space.

The new Colorfields line has been met with acclaim from the wholesale channel during premarket.
