Adam Howard Named Director of CORT Global Network

Furniture World News Desk on 2/18/2019

CORT, a provider of furniture rental and transition services, has announced that Adam Howard is now the Director of CORT Global.

Howard will replace Ken Barron, who retired last month. Barron blazed the path and grew the CORT Global Network from no presence on the global stage, to now operating in 85 countries with 65 partners. “Now is the time for the next generation to take the baton and move the business forward,” said Barron.

With nearly a decade at CORT, Howard started his career as Assistant District General Manager in Houston, through the CORT MBA Leadership Program. Since then, he has served in a variety of roles, including Territory Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager and Trainer, and, most recently, Regional Sales Manager and Director of Global Partners.

“Adam’s deep knowledge of the CORT brand, paired with his passion for the global economy, make him the perfect candidate to continue our momentum in the global marketplace,” said Jeff Pederson, president and CEO, CORT. “We look forward to maintaining our current relationships and building on the solid foundation that Ken has established.”

Howard is excited for this next chapter and looks forward to directing the CORT Global Network as the industry evolves.
