Las Vegas Market announced a comprehensive lineup of programming for 2019 Summer Las Vegas Market, offering buyers, designers and retailers opportunities to connect with peers, become educated on the latest industry trends and earn CEU credits. Trend forecasting takes center stage this summer

Summer Market trend programming includes Las Vegas Market’s proprietary FIRST LOOK product and trends program which will highlight furniture, home décor and gift product introductions in curated displays located throughout campus, in an educational seminar and with two related showroom tours. Along with the best new-to-market products, FIRST LOOK curator and editor Julie Smith Vincenti will share both macro and micro trends and present “2020 Vision,” a 10-hue directional color palette. The seminar, which is tailored to the needs of today’s cross-category buyers, lifestyle stores and interior designers, will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday, July 29; with the related showrooms tours on Monday (home) and Tuesday (gift).

Las Vegas Market’s Ahead of the Curve trend forecasting session returns in partnership with Luxe Interiors + Design on Monday, July 29, from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Designers Marie Flanigan, Britany Simon, Aimee Wertepny, and Denise Morrison will share their insights and opinions about the hottest new directions and designs in home furnishings in an intimate and engaging panel discussion moderated by Kathryn Given, senior design and market editor for Luxe Interiors + Design.

Another exclusive trend presentation, “Best of the West in Life & Style,” features a panel of taste-making influencers and designers including Nicole Salceda, founder of Eye for Pretty; Stephanie Holdaway, owner of Gatehouse No. 1 Furniture & Interior Design; Erica Bryen, owner of Erica Bryen Design; Shay Geyer, owner and designer at IBB Design Fine Furnishings, and Hilde Leiaghat, designer and retailer of Pom Home. The panel, which is co-sponsored by REstyleSOURCE, will be moderated by Nathan Turner of Nathan Turner Inc. and held from 3 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 28.

Summer Market will feature an exclusive slate of networking receptions and industry award events. Highlights include the debut of “Lean In and Lift Up,” a celebration of successful women and the mentors who believed in them, sponsored by Progressive Business Media - Home Furnishings Publications, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., on Sunday, July 28.

Educational sessions address business issues and opportunities
