WithIt, the women’s leadership development network for the home and furnishings industries, announces Justina Blakeney, designer and artist, and author of The New York Times best-selling book The New Bohemians as the guest speaker for the organization’s biannual High Point Market Educational Breakfast presented by Myriad Software, to be held Sunday, April 15, 7:30 to 9 am, in the IHFC ballroom.

The conversation will be moderated by Caroline Hipple, president of Norwalk Furniture.

With a passion for color, pattern, plants and over 2.5 million online followers, Justina and her design blog, Jungalow, have quickly become the go-to sources for bohemian design inspiration. She has collaborated with a number of industry partners such as Valdese Weavers, Selamat Designs, Jonathan Louis and Loloi in creation of her lifestyle brand, Justina Blakeney Home™. The brand includes furniture, rugs, pillows, wallpaper, bedding, fabric, stationery and more.

Justina’s entrepreneurial story springs from her background of traveling all over the world and living and working in Florence, Italy for more than seven years. She has leveraged this experience into a unique brand story that resonates with her online followers and consumers.

“We are looking forward to bringing an entrepreneur with an impressive social media presence to our breakfast attendees,” says Reyna Moore, WithIt’s VP of Education and VP of Merchandising & Marketing for Thomasville & Co. “Justina is the ‘real deal’ – a smart, creative woman who is juggling her business and family. Our attendees will be able to learn how to magnify their brand through their social media.”

The ticketed event is open to WithIt members and to High Point Market attendees. The $30 charge includes a hot breakfast buffet and networking. Seats are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis at www.withit.org.
