Furniture World News Desk on 3/21/2018

ASID California North recently announced the Spring 2018 Fundraising campaign in support of ReBuild Wine Country in partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Sonoma County.

The first of three fundraising events is March 27, 2018 at The Great Northern SF Venue where ASID has created an amazing fun filled night with live music, cirque performances, food and hosted bar. Sponsored by ASID Industry Partner Ferguson Kitchen & Bath (www.ferguson.com).

All events will benefit ReBuild Wine Country a local volunteer effort in fundraising for Habitat for Humanity of Sonoma County. One hundred percent of funds raised by Rebuild Wine Country will be applied to rebuilding owned and rented homes lost in Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino, Solano and Lake counties due to the recent North Bay wildfires. Founded by the team behind Senses Wines (www.senseswines.com). ReBuild Wine Country is managed by a group of wine industry professionals from both Napa and Sonoma Counties with a focus on long term giving.

More About The Rebuid Wind Country Benefit: For those who did not hear or see the news reports and coverage of the Oct. 8, 2017 North Bay fires; over 210,000 acres and nearly 9,000 structures burned, displacing tens of thousands of people. 23 total days were spent to contain the worst fires in California history, as the first responders, fire fighters and local agencies worked non-stop to control and stop the devastation. An estimated $3.3 billion of damages have been reported for insured losses and many families have nowhere to return. With support and donations Rebuild Wine County + Habitat can create a brighter future and make sure that these families have all the necessary resources to rebuild and stay in Sonoma County.
