High Point Market Partners with InspireDesign to Present Third Annual Hospitality at Market program

Furniture World News Desk on 4/29/2018

The High Point Market Authority (HPMA) recently announced that it has partnered with leading hospitality design magazine, InspireDesign, to present the third annual Hospitality at Market program during Fall Market, October 13 – 17, 2018. As the exclusive Media Partner for the popular program, InspireDesign will work to elevate the reach of the program through their industry-focused digital and print channels.

The Hospitality at Market program began in October 2016 as an annual project designed to recruit hospitality designers and buyers to High Point Market and assist them in finding the vendors at the show who offer hospitality products.

In its first two years, Hospitality At Market has generated real excitement and buzz among designers who create some of the world’s finest hotels and resorts. Featuring more than 75 High Point Market exhibitors who supply both the residential and hospitality sectors, the show-within-a-show gives designers and buyers an opportunity to see a greater depth and breadth of product than is possible at any hospitality-only event. The program also features hospitality-focused educational programming and several networking opportunities.

“This partnership with InspireDesign, one of the leading brands in the hospitality sector, will allow us to reach the entire industry with an authoritative voice that can really pinpoint the value of High Point Market for hospitality designers and purchasing agents,” says Tom Conley, president and CEO of the High Point Market Authority. “We are truly honored that they chose to be the exclusive media partner for Hospitality At Market.”

“I visited High Point with our publisher, Allen Rolleri, last fall to attend Hospitality At Market for the first time,” says InspireDesign Editor Christina Trauthwein. “We were amazed. At the typical hospitality show, exhibitors can only present a few pieces of furniture, at most. In High Point, you see showrooms spanning 50,000 square feet or more, displaying the supplier’s entire line, including all of their latest introductions. It’s an experience that is simply unavailable anywhere else in the world. The educational offerings were also exceptional, featuring recognized hospitality leaders talking about what makes great projects work and how we can all work together better.”

“Given its unique, impossible-to-imitate qualities, we think High Point’s Hospitality At Market can become the leading event in our industry,” says InspireDesign Publisher Rolleri. “We are thrilled to be part of this partnership, and look forward to working with the Market Authority and its exhibitors to fulfill that potential.”

“Our first two Hospitality At Market events have been very well received,” added Conley. “With this new partnership, we expect the Fall 2018 Hospitality At Market to be our best yet.”

The Fall 2018 program is scheduled for Sunday, October 14, and Monday, October 15.
