Latexco US builds on Sales Team

Latexco US announced that it has added to its sales team to support its growth strategy and the recently announced expansion in the west.
 
Jared Waken has joined Latexco West as Sales Account Manager, based in Phoenix, Ariz., while Khon Farris has been named to the newly created position of Internal Sales Director, based in Lavonia, Ga.
 
Waken has more than 15 years’ experience in the home furnishings industry. He was most recently with Hickory Springs Manufacturing for eight years as Account Manager for the western U.S. and focused on the bedding segment where he started out in foam sales and then branched out into innersprings, adjustable beds, nonwovens and bed-in-a-box fulfillment. Prior to that he worked for luxury case goods and upholstery manufacturer Lorts in supply chain and product development during his eight years there.
 
In her new role as Internal Sales Director, Farris will focus on key accounts and proactive selling per the company’s customer-centric strategy as well as support the outside sales force. Prior to joining Latexco East, Farris served in roles focused on sales, customer service and support. She also worked as a realtor for six years, which she said allowed her to hone her strong customer-focused communications skills.
