Cory Presents Eugene Alletto With The Joseph Cory Leadership Award

Eugene Alletto with the Joseph Cory Leadership Award and representing the Cory Family are Virginia Cory and Marin Dragojevic, President of Cory Home Delivery.

Cory Home Delivery, one of the largest and oldest specialized carriers in America announced the establishment of the Joseph Cory Leadership Award.

The Joseph Cory Leadership award was presented by the Cory family this year to honor their father, who served as CEO from 1977-2013. CEO Patrick Cory expressed, “my father’s vison, passion and commitment to all relationships and friendships were built on loyalty and trust. He often reminded us that we’re in the people business not trucking. His success in business and his belief in giving back to charities all led us to establish this award to honor someone whose shares dad’s belief in building relationships and shares his strong commitment to charity. We are proud that Eugene Alletto, CEO, Founder and Quarterback of BEDGEAR accepted this award.”

Eugene Alletto was honored to be the first recipient of this award and accepted it with deep gratitude during the annual GMFA Awards Gala at the Palisadium, in Cliffside Park, New Jersey on November 17th. “Joe was an exceptional human being who believed in people; he always found a way to move his business forward; he was a real stand-up person and someone that made an effort to support all of use” stated Eugene. Eugene shares Joe’s passion in supporting the City of Hope research hospital and during his acceptance speech presented the Cory family with a check for City of Hope in the name of Joe Cory and in the upcoming holiday spirit the Cory Company has matched this donation in the name Joe and will be presenting over $12,000 to the COH.
