According to Kirsch, “Payment options are completely integrated, including the ability for customers to scan their credit card using the camera on their mobile device, eliminating the hassle of keying in their payment information.”  The upgrade also includes a deep memory for customer information to encourage and enable faster and more frequent repeat purchases.  

The new shopping cart makes a measurable impact on retailers’ business.  In Beta testing, a Top 100 furniture retailer saw fewer cart abandonments, a higher ecommerce conversion rate and an increase in online sales compared to their former shopping cart.
