New, Expanded and Relocated Showrooms Debut in IHFC for High Point Market

Furniture World News Desk on 3/15/2019

International Market Centers announced that more than 20 new, expanding and relocating exhibitors are making their International Home Furnishings Center (IHFC) debut at Spring 2019 High Point Market, running April 6 – April 10, 2019. IHFC is home to 500 of the leading home furnishings manufacturers, including 13 of the industry’s top 20 companies.

“IHFC offers the largest collection of home furnishings at High Point Market, with an assortment of companies that range from best décor and accessories, to Ashley Furniture, the largest furniture company in the United States,” said Scott Eckman, executive vice president, president of furniture and home décor leasing for International Market Centers. “IHFC offers buyers and designers an expansive cross-category lineup of product with key sources in furniture, rugs, wall art, decorative accessories, upholstery, leather, case goods and juvenile.”

The 14 new IHFC exhibitors for Spring Market include: Belle Meade Signature (high-end residential, hospitality and gaming furniture); Colección Alexandra (exclusive handmade furniture from Spain); DeCasa Marble (custom-made marble dining tables); Infinity Massage Chairs (massage chairs); JAMES by Jimmy DeLaurentis (luxury furniture, pet sofas and candles); John Beard Collection (abstract, coastal, landscape and geode prints); Kalaty Rug (handcrafted area rugs); LH Imports (high-quality import furniture); Lily Koo (hand-carved home furnishings from Indonesia); LUC (high-design home furnishings); Miirza (upholstered living room and family room furniture); Newport Cottages (high-quality furniture for children and infants); Rawan Isaac (mid- to high-end home furnishings) and Tronk Design (modern tables, seating, shelves/storage and bedroom).

Another 10 expanded or relocated showrooms in IHFC include: Bulova Clocks (classic and contemporary timepieces); Cal Lighting and Accessories (lamps, chandeliers, track lighting, pendants and LED mirrors); Dalyn Rug Corporation (machine woven, hand-tufted, printed and custom rugs); DellaRobbia (modern contemporary furniture); Fabelli Group (high-quality contemporary furniture); Flexsteel Industries (furniture for home, commercial and recreational use); Incanto Italia (on-trend contemporary furniture); Loloi Rugs (artistically-designed rugs); Legends Furniture (home entertainment, home office, occasional, and bedroom furniture) and Night and Day Furniture (smartly-designed furniture).

Kalaty Rug is a family-owned manufacturer of handcrafted area rugs. Kalaty Rug is debuting several new collections for Spring Market, including the Harlow, Haven, Remy, Oushak, Soumak, Horizons, Oberoi and Capri collections.

“Although we chose to forego High Point Market for several years, we always knew we would return because this is an essential market for the home furnishings industry,” said Ramin Kalaty, vice president of Kalaty Rug. “Not only is this an important market for furniture, accessory and rug dealers to attend, but High Point also has become increasingly important for interior designers.”

LH Imports is a furniture wholesaler whose line consists of bedroom, dining, accessory, living room, occasional and lighting products. LH Imports newest collections include the Dante, Aura and Remix Bedroom collections.

“Being from the West Coast, High Point Market is the best opportunity we have to meet with existing and future East Coast clients. We realize the importance of showcasing our new designs, which they would normally only see online or in a catalogue,” said Jade Merriman, vice president of LH Imports. “We are well represented on the West Coast, but have tremendous growth potential on the East Coast. Because of this, we have made the decision to show in High Point, where we can connect with quality leads in a short period for time.”

Beyond exhibits, IHFC will offer marketgoers a wide range of educational and networking opportunities, including numerous seminars and social events. Additionally, there will be two IHFC tours that showcase contemporary highlights and Made in America products.
