Interior Design Society announces Designer of the Year Award Recipients

The Interior Design Society announced that on Saturday, May 4th, 2019 members and guests of the Interior Design Society (IDS) gathered in Palm Springs, California to honor the winners of the 2018-2019 Designer of the Year Awards. The awards were presented by Carson Kressley and Thom Filicia.  

“The Designer of the Year competition demonstrates our commitment to recognize the outstanding work of our members nationwide” shared Jenny Cano, Executive Director, IDS. “This year we received a record number of entries, our award-winners consider it a prestigious honor.”

Award recipients were selected by an expert panel of judges that included: Deb Barrett, Julia Buckingham, Chelsie Butler, Patti Carpenter, Jane Dagmi, Diane Falvey, Melissa Galt, Sandy Hughes, Russ Jones, Bruce Knott, Anna Mavrackis, Molly Mays, Donna Moss, Jason Phillips, Katherine Snedecker, Terri Taylor, and Allison Zisko.

IDS also recognized the achievements of Jan Cregier, who was honored with the IDS Fellow Award – the highest award given by the organization. Linda Baker and Bonnie Reich were both recognized with the Outstanding Leadership Award.
