Malouf Promotes Eric Holmstead as New National Sales Manager

Malouf announced that it has created a new National Sales Manager position and have promoted Eric Holmstead, former central district manager, to fill this new role.

Holmstead has been with Malouf for over four years, working his way up the ranks in the sales department. He’s moved from an account manager to a territory manager to central district manager—and Malouf’s overall sales have grown over 350 percent during his time at the company. His experience with the company and his high-performance records made him the ideal candidate to help facilitate client growth.

As a liaison between the Malouf sales team and the rest of company, Holmstead will manage interdepartmental communication to allow the district and regional managers to focus more fully on their clients. He will also be working closely with Vice President of Sales, Mike Douglas, on sales strategy, large account acquisition and management, and formalizing and streamlining sales training programs.

Douglas said, “Eric’s talent in logistics and strategy will be a huge asset at the national level. This new position is all about streamlining processes and increasing communication, so our retail partners have an even better experience when they work with us. There’s no better person for the job.”
While Malouf is making a final decision on the internal promotion for central district manager, other district managers Jesse Gibbs and Jeff Holmstead will be splitting his responsibilities.
