American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame Foundation Elects Patrick Cory to Board of Directors

The American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame Foundation announced that it has elected Patrick Cory to a three-year term on its board of directors. Cory, is former CEO and managing partner of the home delivery business Cory Companies, which was recently acquired by J.B. Hunt where he is a consultant.  Founded by his grandfather in 1934, the Cory Companies serves many of the top 100 retailers, making more than 2.5 million furniture and large appliance deliveries across America annually.

“Patrick has been an active member of the Hall of Fame, as well as other industry organizations, and he brings exceptional leadership, as well as a unique perspective to our board,” says David Gebhart, Foundation board president. “We strive to maintain a board that represents diverse segments of our great industry. Both the Hall of Fame and the industry will benefit from Patrick’s ideas, insights and expertise.”
