Albany Industries Appoints Tina Sikma as CFO

Upholstery furniture manufacturer Albany Industries announced that it has named Tina Sikma to the position of chief financial officer. The former Serta Simmons Bedding senior vice president will report to Mark Gosnell, CEO of Albany Industries.

“Tina brings to our team a tremendous amount of experience in finance, manufacturing and operations and will play a key role in supporting our commitment to continued growth and expansion,” said Gosnell.

Prior to joining Albany, Sikma spent 23 year in the bedding industry, most recently at Serta Simmons Bedding where she was responsible for finance functions across all manufacturing locations, corporate operations, and the supply chain for both Serta and Simmons brands. Prior to the merger of Serta Mattress Company and Simmons Bedding Company, Sikma served in various leadership capacities at Serta, from controller at a single plant to vice president, group controller for the 20 North American plants under the National Bedding Company franchise.

Additionally, Albany is promoting four team members to key management roles.
Bentley Jones has been promoted to chief revenue officer, reporting to Gosnell. Jones has been with Albany Industries for 13 years, previously serving in several capacities including international sourcing and as vice president of sales and marketing.

Kelly Allen has been promoted to chief merchandising officer of Albany, reporting to Gosnell. Allen has been with Albany for eight years. Previously she served as vice president of merchandising.

Amy Callahan has been promoted to merchandising manager, reporting to Allen.

Tony Barkley has been promoted to vice president of engineering, reporting to Gosnell. Barkley has a 29-year career in furniture manufacturing serving the last six years as head of engineering for Albany.

“We have a terrific team in place with the knowledge and expertise to lead Albany into our next phase of growth and to help us best serve the needs of our retail partners,” said Gosnell.
