Hooker Furniture Continues “Virtual Market” Initiative

Furniture World News Desk on 8/12/2020

Following the cancellation of Spring High Point Market and ongoing travel apprehension in response to COVID-19, Hooker Furniture and its sister companies, Hooker Upholstery, Bradington-Young and Sam Moore, have developed a series of comprehensive videos in an ongoing effort to provide new styles and updates on its most popular programs for its retail and interior design partners. The videos are presented by business unit leaders and merchandising teams from Hooker Furniture, Hooker Upholstery, Bradington-Young and Sam Moore. In addition, 360-degree virtual showroom tours, where visitors can explore the company’s 90,000 square-foot High Point Market space by brand are also available.

“As we continue to navigate through these unprecedented times, our comprehensive video line-up and its 24/7 availability, along with high quality Google 360 self-guided showroom tours, provide our retail and interior design partners with access to our new collections and best-selling programs anytime, from the comfort of their own homes or their stores,” said Johne Albanese, vice president of corporate marketing for Hooker Furniture. “With the ongoing challenges of meeting with our customers in person, we needed to be sure that we produced support materials that could empower our partners using a broad array of digitally native multi-media tools designed to assist them in making informed product selections for their businesses.”

The video series includes detailed presentations and virtual showroom tours for Hooker Furniture’s Cascade, Castella, Surfrider and Sundance case good collections along with a new swivel chair assortment from Hooker Upholstery. In addition, Hooker Upholstery showcases its successful Recline & Refresh program as well as new leather stationary silhouettes in the “good” price point.  In addition, all brands have their own Google 360 self-guided showroom tours.

Highlighting new premium leather upholstery introductions, Bradington-Young videos showcase its new Plaza Midwood and Luxe for Living collections, along with several new recliner options and a video dedicated to its BYX Quick Ship program designed specifically for its retail partners.

Sam Moore videos include the debut of the Cocktails & More collection of tray cocktail ottomans, new curved silhouette additions to its popular Loft Living program, plus new specialty swivel chairs with exposed wood and interesting shapes.

In addition to the new video series, the company recently began hosting private virtual tours of its showroom. Available by appointment only, retailers and designers interested in setting up a tour and accessing the new videos can learn more by reaching out to their Hooker Furniture, Sam Moore and Bradington-Young sales representative.
