Eclipse International Expands Chittenden & Eastman ‘Tiffany Collection’

Furniture World News Desk on 10/7/2020

Building on the retail success of its Chittenden & Eastman Tiffany Collection, Eclipse International announced that it is expanding the collection to include a fourth model. The collection will boast four models all hand-crafted and hand-tufted featuring curated materials like organic New Zealand wool, rich layers of cotton, Talalay latex and a high coil count, pocketed coil-on-coil system. The Astoria, along with the other models, will be showcased at the upcoming Fall High Point Market, Oct. 13-21.

The original collection was introduced in January, and retailers have requested an additional model for a complete four-bed offering with a design that provides a firm comfort option.

“We knew we had a homerun with the Tiffany Collection, and our retail partners have confirmed it with their demand for another option,” said Stuart Carlitz, president and chief executive officer of Eclipse International. “Growing this collection positions Eclipse as the nation’s leader in affordable luxury sleep. This beautifully, well-crafted selection also offers a strong natural story that more and more consumers are gravitating toward. With an array of natural materials, including wool, silk, cotton and Talalay latex, teamed with the high coil count, pocketed coil-on-coil construction, we have created a line of beautiful beds that deliver a great return on investment for our retailers.”

The 15-inch Astoria features the same high quality, natural materials used throughout the Tiffany Collection and is covered with elegant platinum and ivory Belgium damasks. The new model joins Fairmont, Wilshire and Drake to round out the collection. Mattresses in the collection are priced to retail from $1,999 to $3,999 for a queen set.

The company has bolstered the collection with a national advertising campaign with Architectural Digest, the design industry’s premier publication with a circulation of 2.6 million.

Paying homage to Chittenden & Eastman’s rich history of selling to luxury hotels, Eclipse chose to name the beds after iconic U.S. hotels.

The expanded collection will be shown in the company’s High Point Market showroom located on the fourth floor of the Crown Mark building at 200 E. Green Drive.
