Windward Design Group Announces Appointment of Rachel Peace as Chief Information Officer

Windward Design Group recently announced the appointment of Rachel Peace to the position of Chief Information Officer of the family-owned outdoor furnishings company. Daughter of company founder and president, David Peace, Rachel joins the Windward Design Group executive team following over two years working in the outdoor industry.
“Rachel has proven over the past years that she is a valuable professional capable of taking on greater responsibilities in our efforts to drive this company forward,” said David Peace, president, Windward Design Group. “She has been around the business since its founding and over the past two and a half years working directly within the manufacturing operation. She is highly respected across the company and I am looking forward to seeing the ways in which she will grow the company in the future.”
As a graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University, Rachel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Resort and Hospitality Management with a concentration in Event Management. In her duties as Windward Design Group’s Chief Information Officer, Rachel will oversee the corporate rebranding, marketing and promotion as well as the rebuilding of an in-house executive team. Her position also will encompass representation of the company as its face across the home and outdoor industries.

Additionally, Rachel’s responsibilities include leading the outdoor furnishings manufacturer into its next chapter. From marketing to product development, Peace will work to build the collaboration between the sales, marketing and manufacturing operations as well as a collaboration with others in the industry as a member of the International Casual Furnishings Association (ICFA).
