Decorating Den Interiors Adds to Support for Its Design Professionals

Decorating Den Interiors announced that it has named Ellen Cherwien, of Easton, as a new franchise support specialist in its Easton corporate office. “Ellen will be providing our interior design business owners assistance with business and marketing plans, interior design skills, product knowledge, customer relationships and sales skills,” said Jennifer Manley, vice president, retail sales.

“Despite the challenges created by the Covid pandemic, our franchisees have achieved aggregate sales at record levels over the last 14 months,” Manley said. “We also have been adding more new franchises than we have in recent years, which has created the need for this new position.” 

Cherwien has 30 years of retail experience, 27 of those with the Phillips Van Heusen Corporation at which she was most recently a division head supervising the operation of seven stores.

She is a textile marketing graduate of the University of Maryland College Park and also has a degree in business management.
