AICO Honors Staff At Annual Holiday Event

Full line furniture supplier AICO/Amini Innovations Corp reported that it recently held its annual Holiday Party at the The Balboa Bay Club in Newport Beach, CA, where over 200 guests enjoyed dinner, dancing, and live entertainment. The event also provided the occasion to bestow several awards to AICO employees and to valued partners. The prestigious Employee of the Year award was presented to Jerry Robles, Director of Showroom Logistics and an employee with AICO for 15 years. “Jerry is the first AICO employee to receive this prestigious award twice” said CEO Michael Amini.

The Spirit of Excellence was awarded to Gabrial Duran, AICO’s Operations Manager. “This award is given to individuals that demonstrate a passion for excellence in their work on a daily basis”, stated” President Martin Ploy. Ploy added that Gabriel touches many facets of the company and has the ability to anticipate potential adverse situations and present solutions that help prevent problems early on. He is a tremendous asset to the AICO team”.

Mindy Martinez, Upholstery Merchandising Coordinator was presented with the Rising Star award. ‘Mindy has quickly become an important part of the AICO team as she has made significant contributions as a support arm to our growing upholstery business added Chuck Reilly Executive Vice President. Reilly added that “four additional AICO Spirit awards were presented to Ventura Ortiz, Denise Salcido, Albert Zhao and Maria Perez” Reilly stated that “these awards are given to individuals that display the “AICO Spirit” on a daily basis”.

The Partner in Progress, awarded to AICO partners that offer exceptional service for the year was awarded to Architectural Digest. Ruth Tooker, AD’s Account Manager accepted the award and added, “the team at Architectural Digest is thrilled to be honored by Michael Amini and his team”.

Michael Amini added “I am truly proud of our team at AICO and the efforts they put forth on a daily basis, Our employees and partners are what drives the AICO Spirit and we are fortunate to have so many great people associated with our company.
