Las Vegas Market Announces Best Booth Winners

Las Vegas Market announced recently that 11 furniture, home décor and gift temporary exhibitors — +Olive, Applepear Jewelry, Braden & Brooks, Cookplay, Fairgoods, Jo Maddie, Lagoon, Mountain House Furniture, Reemka, Southwest Looms and Wicked Boheme — have been named Summer 2017 Las Vegas Market “Best Booth” winners. The Market’s temporary exhibits for gift and home décor run through Wednesday, August 2; and temporary exhibits for furniture and casual/outdoor run through Thursday, August 3, 2017. “Las Vegas Market recognizes the essential role that temporary exhibitors play in bringing vitality, energy and a sense of excitement to each Market. From our ever-growing number of temporary exhibitors, these 11 companies have been recognized for exceptional booth design and visual merchandising,” said Robert Maricich, chief executive officer of International Market Centers.
Four winning furniture exhibitors were Reemka and Southwest Looms, in the home furnishings temporary booths on B2; and Lagoon and Mountain House Furniture, in the casual temporary exhibits on C13. In total, Las Vegas Market offers more than 120+temporary exhibitors in these two home furnishings categories.
Seven exhibitors from the 500+ temporary exhibitors showing in the Pavilions at Las Vegas Market also received Best Booth Awards. Winners from Pavilion 1 were: Wicked Boheme (ARTISANAL LA); +Olive (B HOME); Cookplay (DESIGN); Fairgoods (GIFT); Applepear Jewelry (HANDMADE); and Jo Maddie (HOME). The winner in Pavilion 2 (DISCOVERIES) was Braden & Brooks.
A four-person panel of industry design authorities considered four criteria in determining winners: overall visual design of the booth; creative merchandising; cohesive brand messaging; and the overall personality and attitude of the booth and sales staff. Summer 2017 judges were Courtney Alison, Owner & Photographer, French Country Cottage; Katie Stavinoha & Lorie Woodward, Co-Owners Round Top Texas life & style, Round Top Register; and Lauren Williams, Designer/Artist, BOHO by LAUREN & Lauren Williams Art + Home Décor.
