Building on the momentum of its bar and counter stool collection, Fashion Bed Group® (FBG) recently announced that it has expanded its casual furniture offerings with a selection of pub tables along with three new seating options. The line additions will be on display in the company’s High Point, N.C., showroom during the Fall Furniture Market.

“With the rise of more open floor plans, counter and bar stools continue to grow in popularity and are assuming more prominent positions in the home beyond the basement to kitchens, living areas and bedrooms,” noted Ron Ainsworth, senior vice president of merchandising and procurement for Fashion Bed Group. “We are pleased to offer retailers an even more comprehensive selection of furniture options to respond to the increased demand being driven by this trend.”

Pub Tables

FBG has introduced two new pub tables designed to pair with the company’s popular bar and counter seating collection. Attractively priced to retail at approximately $199 each, the tables each stand 45 inches tall and offer 24 inches of surface space. The new styles include:

  • Brookside – a classic high-boy design with a round, wooden top finished in a rich Black Cherry and set on a sleek stand in Matte Black.

  • Brookgate – a handsome square-top, high-boy table in Acorn wood with a Matte Black stand.

“The addition of tables to our line represents a natural next step for us given the tremendous success of our casual seating program,” said Ainsworth. “These styles offer the perfect complement to our line of bar and counter stools, but are designed to work just as well with virtually any type of seating or setting.”

Bar And Counter Stools

Additionally, FBG has added three new bar and counter stool designs to its casual line-up. All three styles are available in 26” and 30” heights.

  • Seattle – Differentiated by its distinctive spindle-style front legs, this traditional design features an upholstered back and seat in Linen handsomely framed by wood in a best-selling Washed Gray finish. Seattle is priced to retail at approximately $299.

  • Cleveland – This sleek silhouette features a deeply curved back accented by graceful, curved legs. Carmel faux leather on the upholstered seat and back inset contrast with the rich Espresso wood frame to give this piece a mid-century modern look and feel. Cleveland is priced to retail at approximately $349.

  • Baltimore – Retro-inspired elegance characterizes this classic design, which boasts a stately upholstered back and seat with sloped arms and gently flared legs. The Dark Walnut wood frame offers the perfect complement to the neutral Stone upholstery. Baltimore is priced to retail at approximately $349.
