The RoomPlace Opens 26th store in Peoria, Ill.

The RoomPlace recently announced the grand opening of it's newest and largest showroom located in the Northwood's Mall at 2200 W War Memorial Drive in Peoria, Ill. The location is the first in the Peoria market as part of a strategic initiative to expand the furniture retailers' footprint and demonstrate a commitment to revitalizing the local community.

The location marks The RoomPlace's 26th store, with locations across Illinois and Indiana, and brings the company's employee total to more than 700. The store will be the largest mainline store measuring in at 65,000 square feet and will take over the second story space previous occupied by Macy's within the Northwoods Mall.
