High Point Market Announces Stars Under the Stars Entertainment for Fall Market 2018

Furniture World News Desk on 9/21/2018

The High Point Market Authority recently announced that the Stars Under the Stars, the popular series of events at High Point Market, is offering two unique nights of entertainment at Fall Market, October 13 - 17, 2018.

On Saturday, October 13, witness the devastatingly powerful vocals of Jocelyn and Chris Arndt. Backed by retro-rock guitar, they deliver songs that run the gamut from vulnerable to all-out venomous. With 5 album releases and 4 years of touring under their belts – including stops at SXSW, The Sundance Film Festival, CMJ, and Milwaukee Summerfest – these rising stars are creating the next generation of authentic rock.

On Sunday, October 14, come enjoy the legendary sound of George Thorogood & The Destroyers. After four Top 100 albums and two gold records, they charted their first hit single in 1982 with “Nobody But Me”, followed quickly by the now iconic blues-rock anthem, “Bad To The Bone.” Fourteen top 100 singles and three more gold albums later, this hard-charging band delivers a powerful performance that rocks the house everywhere they go – and is sure to rock your world.

Doors open for both nights at 7:00 p.m. at Center Stage, between the Transportation Terminal and Showplace, for market-goers with a current Fall Market pass and photo ID. Early entry for market-goers who have been issued a Buyer pass will begin at 6:45 pm.  Complimentary food and drinks are provided.  No one under the age of 15 will be admitted. Details can also be found at http://www.highpointmarket.org/events/stars-under-the-stars.
