Furniture World News Desk on 9/18/2018

Top 10 bedding producer Englander announced it will hire a company president as part of its strategic growth plans.

The position will be responsible for providing leadership and direction for the development and execution of growth strategy for sales, marketing and merchandising, said CEO Kevin Toman.

“To build on our momentum of steady growth, the board of directors and I recognized the need for this role to maximize the opportunities we see for Englander,” said Toman. “The industry is rapidly evolving, and we are looking for an individual with the growth mindset and skills set to carry the success we’ve had forward.”

Toman, who has been at the helm since 2005, is actively involved in the executive search and selection process. He will maintain all CEO responsibilities and work closely with the incoming president to ensure the overall health of the Englander brand.

“We will be diligent in finding the right fit for the company and the individual – a well-rounded person who has a proven background in leading an organization, can build and manage relationships inside and outside of the company, and has critical thinking and problem solving skills,” Toman said.

The president will report to the Chairman of the Board and the CEO. A full description of the executive role is available on the company website at www.Englander.com/careers.html.
