Classic Brands Opens First Showroom in New York

Specialty mattress producer Classic Brands reports that it is expanding its reach into alternative retail channels by opening a showroom in New York in time for the upcoming Fall New York Home Fashions Market, Sept. 24-27. The showroom is in the 230 Fifth Avenue New York Market Center – one of the more highly trafficked showroom buildings in the city’s Flatiron District. It will give the company prime visibility to mass merchant and big box retailers.
The 1,500-square-foot showroom gives the company a prime location to showcase its diversified product lineup during a variety of New York-based markets, including NY NOW. The new space also provides Classic Brands 24-hour access to the showroom offering it flexibility in hosting retail partners for new product reveals and product development meetings.

The showroom opening was strategically timed with Home Fashions Market, which attracts big box retailers like Target, Walmart and other mass merchandisers.
During the Market, Classic Brands will showcase a selection of its best-selling items including mattresses, pillows, mattress protectors, bed frames and furniture all designed to ship either flat packed or compressed.
