WithIt Hosts Libby Langdon Along National Tour

Designer Libby Langdon kicks off the March launch of Libby Langdon’s Small Space Solutions: Stylish Design Ideas for Every Room - and Every Budget with a national book tour, along with several guest appearances in furniture showrooms and retail stores hosted by WithIt (Women in the Home Industries Today). Langdon, best known as the expert commentator and leading designer for HGTV’s popular program Small Space, Big Style. In the new book, Langdon lends her uniquely gracious and infectiously optimistic voice to 175 pages of photos, text and DIY tips for homeowners of every style stripe. The New York-based TV personality serves on this year’s WithIt board of directors. “Libby brings a lot of energy to everything she does and has been a valuable addition to this year’s board,” said Liz O’Brien, WithIt president for 2009. “We are thrilled to be able to share her enthusiasm for our organization, as well as her home decorating solutions, with the industry.” WithIt’s regional chapters and its chairs are at work to coordinate local events featuring Langdon, including Western region, Donna Favia, Aspenhome; Dallas/ Southwest, Jill Robinson, Dallas Market Center; in Florida, Heidi Higgins, Carl’s Furniture; in Metro/ Northeast, Vicky Lederman, consultant; in Chicago/ Midwest, Erin Piotrowski; in Atlanta/ Southeast, Heather Brown, Bluefish Home; and in the Virginias/ Carolinas, Kathleen Holterman, French Heritage. WithIt members, students, guests and store customers are invited to participate in hour-long design seminars, which will include a Q&A session, book signing, networking and hospitality. Langdon will additionally promote WithIt membership benefits.
