Plunkett Home Furnishings To Close Two Stores

The Chicago Sun-Times reported that, "Plunkett Home Furnishings, a Chicago furniture retailer founded on South Wabash during the Great Depression, is closing stores in Orland Park and River Forest due to cost-saving measures." This will leave four stores in Chicago and another near St. Louis. Chris Lynch, CEO of Lynch Sales told FURNITURE WORLD Magazine that his firm will be coordinating the sales events for the Plunkett family.
