Furnitureland South to Host Anne-Marie Barton

Furnitureland South announced that on Saturday, June 27, 2009, at 3:00 PM renowned Designer Anne-Marie Barton will present a seminar educating consumers about being confident with color in their homes. This free seminar is open to the public and part of Furnitureland South’s month-long celebration entitled Dream in Color. Additional events taking place on June 27 include a presentation of color trends and faux finishing techniques by Sherwin-Williams, an introduction to Stanley Furniture’s Coastal Living collection by Coastal Living magazine, and a color confidence seminar given by Designer, Michael Delgaudio. All events are open to the public.
 
Anne-Marie Barton is Interior Designer to Jim Nantz, the voice of CBS Sports and spokesperson for Furnitureland South’s Dream Home marketing campaign. When designing interiors, Anne-Marie cultivates a look that is sophisticated and eclectic, with colors, textures, and architectural details that infuse a space with interest and warmth. She often says, “Every space in a home is important enough to provide a surprise for the eye. There’s no reason why even a new home can’t have all the character of an older one.”  Anne-Marie has appeared on television shows including CBS’s The Early Show and Good Things Utah and has served as a Special Contributor to Family Circle magazine. She is also Home Depot’s spokesperson for their Pegasus line of bathroom products and can be seen hosting About.com video spots on topics related to home design and lifestyle.
