aspenhome Appoints New Executive Vice President

aspenhome announced that Rich Garrity has joined the aspenhome family as the new Executive Vice President of Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

“We are thrilled to have Rich lead our logistics and supply chain team,” stated Bill Colegrove, general manager and CEO of aspenhome. “He brings to us 25 years of successful supply chain management experience with the last 15 years leading global end-to-end supply chain organizations at the executive level. His experience in leveraging best practices and proven techniques across multiple industries will be a invaluable for us as we expand our global capabilities.”

According to Garrity, at aspenhome he “plans to further develop a world class supply chain management organization capable of achieving the highest levels of service and performance with the lowest long term sustainable cost structure in the furniture industry.” He also plans to achieve supply chain performance levels that consistently deliver a competitive advantage for all aspenhome customers with an infrastructure capable of supporting the long-term objectives for the company.

Garrity’s cross-industry experience will help him achieve these goals by leveraging supply chain and organizational development practices from both inside and outside of the furniture industry. He will develop global infrastructure and information system capabilities to better drive supply chain integration and synchronization. And finally, Garrity plans to leverage the talents and expertise of the current aspenhome supply chain and logistics team while looking for additional talent to continually expand aspenhome’s supply chain leadership position.

Previously, Garrity has overseen the Global Supply Chain and Operations for CR Home Incorporated and Thomasville Furniture. He has a degree from Syracuse University School of Management.  He and his family are planning to relocate to Phoenix, Arizona in the near future.
