The International Sleep Products Association (ISPA) announced that it welcomes the announcement that Englander Sleep Products has rejoined ISPA.

“I am very excited that Englander has renewed its ISPA membership. Englander licensees have been part of ISPA for decades, and it was a wake up call when their company resigned last month.  Their decision to come back to ISPA is a huge step in the right direction,” said ISPA Chair Don Wright of Wright of Thomasville. “ISPA’s Board is committed to making changes to better address our members’ needs. I am glad that Englander has responded to the initial steps we have taken.  I hope that other companies that have left the association will follow Englander’s lead and help us strengthen ISPA as the mattress industry’s trade association. In moving forward, it’s important that all voices within this industry be heard.”

Englander’s President Kevin Toman stated, "We’re returning to ISPA because we need a strong voice in Washington and change within the organization. I felt with the changes that have occurred, it was time to come back and want Englander to help out in any way we can. We want to help ISPA go in the right direction, and it’s my hope that other members start evaluating the need for ISPA and come back as well."

“This is tremendous news for the mattress industry and the ISPA community,” said

ISPA Executive Vice President and General Counsel, Ryan Trainer. “The Englander team has contributed many volunteers to the ISPA Board and various committees.  They are a prime example of companies that both value the benefits of ISPA membership and actively give of their time for the good of the industry.  Englander’s renewed involvement will strengthen the association’s representation of the mattress industry by bringing their valuable insights back to the table.”

“We are thrilled to hear Englander is returning,” noted Debi Sutton, ISPA Vice President of Marketing & Member Services. “We are confident that with the support and guidance of Englander and others in our member community, and with new outreach to the industry, we can take the association in new directions that will truly fulfill the needs of our members, while enhancing the growth and profitability for the entire mattress industry.”

Established in 1915, the International Sleep Products Association is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the growth, profitability and stature of the mattress manufacturing industry.
