Palliser Furniture Upholstery Ltd. announced that it has promoted Derek Dupley and Nicole Morin to new sales posts and has hired industry veteran Lorri Kelley as Vice President of Sales, Western Region for the United States. Lorri Kelley joins Palliser from Wynwood where she held the concurrent positions of Senior Vice President, Upholstery Merchandising and Vice President of Sales, Western United States and Canada. Before Wynwood, Kelley held executive positions at Schnadig, Rowe Furniture Home Elements Inc. and Pennsylvania House Furniture. Kelley has also represented both Bernhardt Furniture and Thomasville. "We're very excited to have Lorri on board," said John Phillips, Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing. "She brings with her a proven track record which we believe will enable her to be effective immediately as she joins the team. Living in Kansas City, Lorri will also provide a dealer support "presence" which has been missing from our structure and service of the Western states." Derek Dupley has been appointed Vice President of Sales, Eastern Region for the United States. Dupley previously held the position of Sales Manager, Northern U.S. In his 17 years with the company he has held various positions, including Customer Service Representative, Sale Representative and Merchandising Manager. "Derek¹s enthusiasm and passion for the business has opened many new doors for us," said Phillips. "We look forward to many more new opportunities from the eastern U.S. region under Derek's management." Nicole Morin appointment as Sales Manager, Canada comes after proven success as the sales manager for the eastern Canadian region where she strengthened relationships with existing accounts and developed new business in the Atlantic Provinces. ³Her knowledge of the internal workings of Palliser, her product and systems knowledge and her road experience will enable Nicole to bring a new level of support to both the Canadian dealer base and the Palliser Canadian sales force,² said Phillips.
