Capel Rugs, announced that it will unveil an unprecedented number of introductions during the Atlanta and Las Vegas markets in early 2010.
"Although sales remain somewhat sluggish throughout the rug industry, we expect rising interest the first quarter of 2010 and Capel Rugs will be ready with great diversity of products," said Allen Robertson, Capel's Vice President of Sales. "We've seen increased demand for collections that appeal to a style-savvy consumer, and we're excited to be offering such a wide variety of new designs."
The company's latest collections include introductions in soft contemporary and transitional styles, offered in fresh colors at great value. New collections in this category include the subtly elegant Essex collection, an exceptionally stylish collection with a soft hand that is fully reversible. The patterned Graphique collection includes a variety of trend-setting designs that complement the latest contemporary home fashions.
The new Tweed Square provides an updated braided look for both casual and modern décor. In addition, Capel continues to offer fresh traditional styles such as Josette and Persian Trace, both hand crafted with beautiful attention to detail.
New licensed collections include the bordered Capel Anywhere™ collection Pacific View from Jane Seymour, architecturally inspired Orchard House from Biltmore® For Your Home and indoor-outdoor collections from Williamsburg®, including the brightly-hued Abby's Garden and the Asian-inspired Finesse-Kimono Flower. The Bob Timberlake® Burl design is a new addition to the Karma Naturals collection that offers a stylized interpretation of burled wood.
Capel Rugs will be located at the Atlanta International Area Rug Market in the Merchandise Mart building, Space 6F2, and at Las Vegas Market in the World Market Center, Space A226.

Orchard House
A new addition to Capel's Biltmore® For Your Home line, Orchard House is named to commemorate the farmhouse that once stood on the Biltmore Estate. Hand tufted in India for an exceptionally soft hand, these stylized designs are inspired by leaded glass and carved stone adorning the entrance of Biltmore House. The Florali style is available in the colorways honey, blue spruce and barley, and the Rings style is available in the colorways maize, flax and persimmon. A 5' x 8' rug may retail for $599.
Graphique
High style and sophistication are presented in the Graphique collection from Capel's weaving partners in India. Beautiful hand tufting techniques and hand carving make these upscale patterns and colors perfect for both casual and formal décor. Composed of pure wool for lasting service and durability. Graphique is available in the unique patterns Ringlets, Hibiscus, Floral Step and Shadow Branch in a variety of colorways. A 5' x 8' rug may retail for $499.
Essex
Hand loomed in India from 100% wool, the Essex collection draws the eye with subtle geometric textures. Patterns woven with directional contrast create a soothing effect. The Essex collection is reversible and available in the colorways champagne, putty, bronze and russet. A 5' x 8' rug may retail for $199.
Tweed Square

Karma Naturals-Burl
Hand knotted by master artisans from eco-friendly 100% hemp fibers, the Burl design from the Karma Naturals collection is a Bob Timberlake® rug. Josette
Classic Aubusson rug patterns from 17th century France have been expertly tufted by hand by master craftsmen in India to create the Josette collection. Pure 100% wool and the finest chrome dyes assure enduring quality, while hand carving gives the design added depth and dimension. Josette is available in the colorways seafoam, cream and coral. Pacific View
Expertly cut and sewn triple borders of Sunbrella® fabric frame the plush, olefin base of Pacific View.
