Classic Sleep Products announced that it has become the first manufacturer to address retailers' internet channel conflict concerns by creating an exclusive six-sku internet brand designed as a “plug and play” system for retailers.

The six-sku line-up of three visco and three latex mattresses, have no discernable branding on the ticking or label, and come vacuum packed and rolled in a colorful box, so they can be shipped directly to consumers, so a retailer does not need to invest in inventory. Each mattress type comes in an 8, 10 and 12 inch profile. Competitive pricing for the series gives retailers the flexibility to price their program based upon their unique e-commerce strategy, although it is expected most retailers will offer the products between $499 and $1,299 in queen.

“One of the biggest challenges retailers are facing is the channel conflict posed by putting the same mattress collection online and in their stores. You have retail sales associates complaining that a consumer can purchase the same product online and avoid the traditional sales experience and bypass the store all together,” said Classic CEO Mike Zippelli. “Our new program addresses this concern by giving the retailer something different to offer on-line shoppers. An added benefit is that they do not have to hold the inventory. A retailer can place an order directly to us and we will ship to the consumer.”

Classic Sleep Products sells its bedding products and accessories under the Dormia, Space Age and Natural Expressions brands and uses the finest materials from around the world including all-natural and high-performance covers, lamb’s wool, Talalay and Dunlop latex, and visco-elastic memory foam.

With its worldwide partnerships, the company is able to offer enhanced features on a wide range of value-driven products comprised of memory and latex foam that deliver unequalled comfort and value. Many of the premium products are manufactured domestically using handmade craftsmanship and custom embroidery.

Classic’s line of specialty foam products represents the fastest growing segment of the bedding market. They are designed to help customers get the maximum benefit out of each and every night’s sleep so they can lead more productive and healthy lives. For more information, visit www.dormia.com
