Millenia USA, known as Legacy Traditions Solid Wood Furniture, announced it would relocate to the IHFC from the Profit Center. The new showroom will be on the Seventh Floor of IHFC’s Green Wing, G782.

Now in its fourth year exhibiting at the High Point Market, the company, according to Jack DeBonis, is looking for more exposure and higher traffic. “We had an 18 percent growth over 2008,” DeBonis said. “We attribute that to our solid wood niche in master bedroom. We offer solid wood at or below veneer prices and retail customers are responding. To have that growth in a tough economy speaks to the success of our product. We know that showing at the IHFC will give our products the wider exposure they deserve.”

DeBonis said retailers will see a lot of new product in their new showroom. “We will be adding three new collections in solid Pennsylvania Cherry, as well as three collections in other species, two mahogany and one hardwood.”

Opening in 1921, IHFC was the original showroom building in High Point and after 89 years of expansion remains the centerpiece of the world’s largest home-furnishings trade show that attracts more than 80,000 participants twice a year to 2,000 showrooms covering 11.5 million square feet. IHFC alone is home to 500 of the leading home-furnishings manufacturers, including 13 of the top 20 companies, and covers 3.5 million square feet.
