World Market Center Launches Five Integrated Websites

World Market Center Las Vegas announced the launch of five new websites as the cornerstone of an integrated online platform to deliver more information, more tools and more productivity to those who interact with its brands. 

The newly redesigned websites of World Market Center Las Vegas include a new corporate website and address (www.wmclv.com), along with four unique event sites for WMCLV’s roster of Markets, including Las Vegas MarketTM (www.lasvegasmarket.com), Gift+HomeTM (www.giftandhomelv.com), Vegas KidsTM (www.vegaskidslv.com), and INSPIREDESIGNTM (www.inspiredesignlv.com.)

The portfolio of new sites also includes the integration of Las Vegas Design CenterTM (www.lvdesigncenter.com), which launched last year to the A&D community and consumers to support WMCLV’s year-round design business. Collectively, the new interactive experience aims to build customized market planning tools, rich resources essential to serving every segment of the home furnishings business, and to connect communities across WMCLV’s home furnishings, gift, juvenile and hospitality markets.

The new online platform also offers registered buyers, designers, exhibitors and media a more personalized content experience through WMCommunity. Upon creating a username and password, this custom portal enables users to update their contact information and preferences, build their event schedule, view unique content and more. The WMCommunity section, which will benefit from added content and functionality over the coming weeks, allows users to:

  • Streamline the registration process with dynamic lookup capabilities, allowing repeat buyers a one-click registration experience when registering for any future WMCLV event

  • Manage an individual profile and share information about their business in order to enhance relevance of content and market information

  • Create a custom calendar of events and seminars for Market week(s) that conveniently exports to Outlook

  • View and rank products from manufacturers and market exhibitors

  • Utilize matchmaking technology that allows buyers to connect with exhibitors they want to see through appointment-scheduling features

In an effort to provide further marketing value to its partners, all 1,000-plus manufacturers that are part of WMCLV’s platform and shows are given a complimentary, custom microsite – giving suppliers more tools to reach new and existing customers.  

Exhibitors will benefit from a rich content portfolio on-line, including an image library capable of storing up to 25 images, video uploads, a document file for items such as product catalogues, press releases, show specials, as well as quick links to their social media accounts and profiles. Exhibitors can also take advantage of the site’s matchmaking capabilities, launching in a few weeks, allowing buyers to schedule an appointment with their company during market. The system also features lead-generation technology, recommending to buyers new suppliers at Market who fit a particular profile.

Exhibitors can easily manage all of their information and post content for multiple shows through one log-in portal. WMCLV is encouraging its exhibitors to populate their microsites over the coming weeks to ensure a robust experience for visitors.
