Sligh Furniture Company reported that it has received its third “Best Buy” designation by Consumers Digest. The Alante Partners Desk, which was first recognized as a “Best Buy” in 2007, is again a “Best Buy” for 2010. Sligh’s Laredo television console made the list in 2009.
Consumers Digest recognized the Alante Partners Desk as a repeat winner based on its “combination of features and versatility.” The publication has been identifying outstanding consumer values and offering expert product reviews, shopping tips and special reports on virtually every category of consumer goods available in North America for 45 years.
The desk will be featured in Consumers Digest August, 2010 issue in the Best Buys in Home-Office Chairs and Desks feature. Consumers Digest touts the desk’s legroom (enough for two people to work comfortably across from each other), rounded open bookcase and file drawers as just some of its unique features.
In addition to the Partners Desk, the Alante collection includes a credenza, deck, bookcase, and file cabinet in a beautiful transitional design with a waxed and hand-rubbed medium two-tone brown finish.
