Hickory at Home, the consumer products retail division of Hickory Springs Manufacturing Company, announced that it will introduce a new retail “store-within-a-store” The FInal Touch bedding accessories concept  at this fall’s High Point Market, October 16–21, 2010, in High Point, NC.

During the Fall High Point Market, Hickory at Home will launch Final Touch, the division’s new top-of-bed retail initiative  concept designed to help traditional bedding product retailers supplement their mattress and bedding hardware sales with a complete  line of top-of-bed accessories. Retailers can choose from three different footprints — 300, 150, or 75 sq. ft — fully stocked with a wide range of top-of-bed accessories like sheets, pillows, down comforters and mattress pads.

"Retailers who are only selling mattresses, headboards and bed rails are leaving a lot of money on the sales floor. That’s where Hickory  at Home’s Final Touch comes in," explained Niles Cornelius, General Manager, Hickory at Home. "Before Final Touch, retail customers  would have to visit two different stores to get all their mattresses, bed hardware and top-of-bed accessories. But now retailers who buy  into the Final Touch store-within-a-store will be able to keep bedding customers  — and their money — in their store by making it a destination for buying all your bedding products and accessories in one place.”

Cornelius says the advantage of the Final Touch store-within-a-store concept is that it gives retailers the ability to immediately open up a  lucrative new revenue stream without investing the time, effort or money to research or merchandise the top-of-bed product mix themselves. “Hickory at Home and Final Touch have already done all the work for them,” Cornelius added. “All the retailer has to do is put Final Touch on the floor and start selling.“

Hickory Springs’ Executive Vice President Dwayne Welch shares Cornelius’ enthusiasm for the Final Touch concept.  “The Hickory at Home division is dedicated to creating products and components that are innovative, while also offering  our customers the highest quality and comfort in the bedding industry,” Welch explained. “Final Touch delivers on that promise.”

The Final Touch store-within-a-store concept and complete line of Hickory at Home consumer products will be on display in Hickory at Home’s High Point Market showroom, located in Main Building, 5th Floor, Space #508A.
