Groovystuff will bring Allen Halcomb of MossCreek and Dick Idol together Sunday, April 3, in High Point for a lunch-and-learn targeted to interior designers serving the luxury, mountain, lake and rustic resort communities. The 12-1 p.m. event, sponsored by MossCreek, will be held in the Groovystuff showroom on the ground floor of the Suites at Market Square, space #1028.

As an internationally recognized and award-winning designer of the modern rustic home, Allen Halcomb of MossCreek is in a unique position to forecast the interior design needs of today’s luxury mountain homeowners.  Halcomb will share the modern architectural trends preferred by MossCreek’s high end clientele and the opportunity they present to interior designers serving or wanting to serve this market. The company’s projects have taken them to locations throughout the United States, as well as South America, Europe and Russia. The most frequently-asked question following the completion of their luxury homes, says Halcomb, is, “How can I make the inside of our home look as stunning as the outside?”

To help him answer this question, Halcomb has solicited the cooperative efforts of the Dick Idol Brand partners.

As a wildlife artist and renown outdoorsman who has inspired home furnishings collections that celebrate his spirit of adventure and passion for the great outdoors, Dick Idol has a distinctive vision of refined rustic living.

“The Dick Idol brand of home furnishings allows for diversity in home décor, yet the synchronization between the brand partners makes it all look seamless,” says Halcomb. The Dick Idol Brand Partners include unique furniture and home décor constructed of reclaimed teak from Groovystuff, furniture from Shadow Mountain, area rugs from Surya, bedding and tabletop textiles from Silverado Home, as well lighting, accessories, wall décor, and accent furniture from Crestview Collection.

Idol and Halcomb both will be available to answer questions at the conclusion of the luncheon.
